Free throw shooting contest
Annual youth promotion from the Manhattan Optimist Club.
We have over 600 5th grade students at Manhattan’s elementary school compete for the title of Manhattan’s best throw shooter.
Boys Division
School Champions will shoot in the semi-finals during halftime of the K-State Men’s game vs. Kansas City on Thursday, November 17th @ 5:30 PM.
The top four semi-finalists will shoot in the finals during halftime of the K-State Men’s game vs. Incarnate Word on Sunday, December 11th @ 2:00 PM.
Girls Division
School Champions will shoot in the semi- finals during halftime of the Women’s K- State game vs. UTRGV on Friday, November 18th @ 6:30 PM.
The top four semi-finalists will shoot in the finals during halftime of the K-State Men’s game vs. Incarnate Word on Sunday, December 11th @ 2:00 PM.
Prizes Include:
- McDonald’s coupon, KS StateBank Pencil, and Manhattan Optimist Club Commemorative Ribbon for all participants.
- T-Shirts for each school champion.
- Medal for all semi-finalists.
- Plaques and autographed shirts for all finalists.
- $100 to classroom of boy and girl finals winner.
