President Bill Wisdom welcomed the membership and guests, led a reflection and the Flag Salute.
Program:
There was no program this week. The meeting was held at Optimist Park following a work session to place approximately 400 trees in the A-Frame stanchions for sale beginning Friday. Optimist members and fast pitch softball players and coaches moved the trees and placed price tags on them. Lunch was catered by R. C. McGraws and funded for the volunteers and members by the Optimist.
Member Spotlight: No Member Spotlight this week.
Guests: Clyde Scott introduced his oldest granddaughter who played on the Moxie softball team.
Club Stuff/Announcements:
Jim Morrison announced the sign-up for Early Expressions Art Judging will be at next weeks meeting.
Bill Wisdom thanked all the volunteers who helped set up the trees for sale.
Jim Franke announced help was still needed for Santa’s Workshop at the tree lot.
