The "Manhattan Optimist Club Bulletin": Vol. 2024 #12: 12-20-23
VOLUME 2024 DECEMBER 20 NUMBER 12
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Mike Fincham welcomed everyone, we had a wonderful Blessing and then all joined in the Flag Salute.
Remember those no longer with us and keep those less fortunate in your thoughts and prayers. Special thoughts are being sent to Diana Havenstein, we hope you are feeling stronger each new day. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Be kind always, you never know what others may be suffering from.
Friends and families enjoyed a nice hot breakfast followed by some wonderful entertainment. Mike Fincham introduced Chad Pape who in turn introduced us to the Manhattan High School Pop’s Choir. Fifteen young men and women enthusiastically performed several songs from “GREASE”. As usual, they were just fantastic, energetic and full of spirit! They kicked off the morning for us and left us all in smiles.
Santa made a visit too, leaving all the little kiddo’s with smiles too.
Many, many thanks to all who made this Christmas Breakfast so warm and inviting. Wishing you and all your families a warm and wonderful Holiday Season.
Our next meeting will be December 27th, NOON MEETING, featuring Karen and Dave Everhart of Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue Ranch.
Topic: Reading to our Rescues
