VOLUME 2025 NOVEMBER 27, 2024 NUMBER 9
Optimist met at 10:00 am to stock trees on the racks to begin sales on Thanksgiving Day. The rain held off long enough for the trees to be stocked, but pricing the trees had to wait until the weather cleared the next morning. A short meeting was held, with 1st Vice President Kelly Karl presiding. Jerry Banaka shared a reflection, followed by the flag salute.
PROGRAM: Lunch followed at picnic tables placed in the large shed.
GUESTS: Players and parents from the Optimist fast pitch teams who helped with preparing and moving the trees.
Korey Klinkenberg announced a few volunteers are needed for the Early Expressions Art judging on December 6th.
Jean Klassen noted the Mercury article on the tree lot.
