Optimist Musical Instrument Recovery Program

Help us give the gift of music to a young musician in need!

The Manhattan Optimist Club is proud to continue this philanthropic initiative: the Optimist Musical Instrument Recovery Program. This program aims to provide musical instruments to students whose families may not have the means to rent or purchase one—ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate in their school music program.

Our Bank and Credit Union partners will be hosting an Instrument Donation Drive from June 1 through June 6, 2026. During this time, gently used band and orchestra instruments can be dropped off at the following locations during regular business hours:

All donated instruments will be inspected, repaired if needed, and distributed to local schools for use in the upcoming academic year. Please note that we are unable to accept pianos at this time.
