Optimist Christmas Tree Lot

The Manhattan Optimist Foundation Christmas Tree Lot has been selling Christmas Trees in Manhattan, KS since the 1959 Christmas season and has been an annual event ever since. The Tree Lot is manned by Manhattan Optimist Club members, spouses, and friends.

All of the profits from the Tree Lot sales are included in the Manhattan Optimist Club's annual Youth Fund Budget of over $20,000 which goes directly to sports, educational, recognition, and community support activities for Manhattan area youth.

Turn East onto Amherst Avenue - Toward Little Apple Honda/Toyota
Take the Second Left onto Plymate Lane
Follow Plymate Lane to the End to Optimist Park

Hours of Operation

Tree sales begin on Thanksgiving Day and conclude on December 23 (or once the last tree is sold). Hours of operation are:

Nov. 23: 10:00am-12:00pm & 2:00pm-6:00pm
Nov. 24: 9:00am-8:00pm
Nov. 25: 9:00am-8:00pm
Nov. 26: 9:00am-8:00pm

Normal Schedule

Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am-8:00pm
Weekdays: 4:00pm-8:00pm
